Job Overview

Nikkiso Cryoquip is a leading manufacturer of heat exchangers, liquefiers, and vaporizers for the LNG and industrial gases industry. Applications include fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, and well stimulation.

Summary

Responsible for interpreting information package to assemble and produce products. Read and interpret blueprints, position parts., You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision. You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision. Goal is to produce complex product by putting together smaller components.

 

Hourly Rate

$20 - $21

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Listen to directions from supervisors.
  • Determine if all parts are present.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies.
  • Interpret measurements.
  • Verify specifications.
  • Assemble components.
  • Resolve assembly and production issues.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions as needed.
  • Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
  • Report errors to supervisor.
  • Reach schematics, blueprints, and parts list.
  • Work with other assemblers to create a final product.
  • Test and inspect components and product.

 

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely utilizes the operation of material handling equipment and various tools and machinery. 

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and work with various materials and/or tools, as well as work and bend at different heights, in various temperatures, and be on feet for an extended period of time.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
