Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Consolidations, Systems, and Reporting Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Reporting & Consolidation Manager, the Accountant will be an integral part of the finance team and provide a wide range of experience in financial reporting and analysis.

 

The Consolidations, Systems, and Reporting Accountant will play a crucial role in the consolidation process for our financial statements, overseeing reporting systems, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and accounting systems. This position is great for an aspiring individual who is detail oriented and can effectively collaborate vertically and cross functionally within the organization and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

 

Annual Salary: $65,096 to $113,280

Responsibilities

Financial Consolidation:

  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Coordinate with subsidiaries to gather financial data and ensure accurate consolidation.
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to obtain information necessary to ensure accurate and timely consolidation with sufficient supporting files.

Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain internal and external reporting processes.
  • Work closely with the Financial Reporting & Consolidation Manager to identify areas for process improvement and implement scalable solutions for intercompany and international accounting functions.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Systems Management:

  • Assist in chart of accounts governance and maintenance.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and tools for financial reporting.
  • Assist in implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline processes.

Audit Support:

  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Support the Company’s internal control implementation by working with internal audit team as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Support the Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for relevant control activities.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the consolidation and reporting framework.
  • Participate in business transformation projects to streamline and drive financial close process improvements.
  • Lead special projects related to financial reporting and system enhancements.

Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field is required. Equivalent experience may be accepted.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and Power Point skills required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Consolidations, Systems, and Reporting or similar accounting experience is required.
  • OneStream reporting software experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong technical background and proficient knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills, with a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to organize work and handle multiple projects with concurrent deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
