Job Overview

Working within the Aftermarket Service (AMS) Sales team, reporting to the Aftermarket Manager, the Aftermarket Sales Coordinator II is responsible for coordinating a variety of customer requests and ensuring that their satisfaction is met. The Aftermarket Sales Coordinator II ensures all customers’ requests are answered in a timely manner, coordinates with the AMS Technical team to clarify the technical points and actively contribute to improve and maintain the AMS Sales process and the Key Performance Indicators associated.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pricing, lead times, product availability, and specifications to customers
  • Email customers completed quotation in 1-5 days after receiving it
  • Regularly review and update quotations status based on product availability and sub vendor productivity, while keeping project management informed of any changes or discrepancies
  • Assess critical issues and communicate with customers frequently on quotation process and status
  • Request quotations from sub vendors for best internal cost and to maximize lead times
  • Clarify with customer on specifications and engineering requirements and works with the AMS Technical team to answer the requests
  • Communicate customer needs to Project Management Team during dispatch of new Purchase Orders
  • Expedite all critical and time sensitive matters relating to direct spare part orders or parts needed urgently at customer site for service
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a level of customer communication that acknowledges specific demands and consistently provides superior customer service
  • Help and contribute to the establishment of the Customer Satisfaction monitoring process
  • Keep accurate tracking of quotations/proposals for all customers using internal quotation tracking tool used for the generation of the AMS Sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Actively contribute to the constant improvement of the AMS Sales process, work instructions and procedures
  • Ability to manage global quotation request customer base, including the capability to perform effectively in high stress situations when required
  • Ability to liaise with the AMS Technical team and multiple NCI departments to answer technical questions for customers
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, sales, proposals, and project management strongly preferred
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, or CRM software applications is required, Salesforce and Encompix preferred
  • Willing to work as required to meet customer needs, including, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Must possess data management skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Customer relations management and excellent negotiation skills are critical
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the AMS work instructions/procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted

Environmental Safety Requirements

 

  • New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness
  • All safety related training is provided and tracked by the EHS Manager
  • Job specific training modules deemed necessary by employee’s Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis
  • Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPE’s include, safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks. Failure to comply with Nikkiso Cryo safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.
