Job Overview

Summary/Objective

The Customer Service Representative supports the Customer Center Manager with their responsibilities to achieve customer satisfaction through on-time deliverables that are within budget. The position uses the ERP system to log and track repair and exchange lifecycle processes as well as interfaces with customers. The Customer Service Representative is also accountable for performing other office and administrative tasks as assigned. 

 

Position location is located at the NCS Customer Center in Irvine, California.

 

Salary:  $25 – $28 per hour

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Customer Service (Primary)

  • Use ERP to create orders or exchange core application on the daily receiving IWO log
  • Calculate yearly IWDC/AIWD rebate using the ERP system as applicable
  • Prepare and submit quarterly customer reports as required
  • Process customer orders in ERP:
    • spare parts orders
    • exchanges orders
  • Process vendor purchase orders in ERP
  • Acquire customer purchase orders
  • Use ERP to invoice customers and ensure proper submittal to customers
  • Follow up on monthly exchange core as applicable
  • Input ERP process of repair customer “Shelf orders”
  • Complete customer supplier forms
  • Complete ERP new customer set up, request DNB
  • Process ROG on drop shipment vendor invoices
  • Assist with customer training seminars, planning hosted meals
  • Promote Customer Focus
  • Support QMS requirements in areas of responsibility for conformance with international requirements and state and federal regulations

Administrative

  • Coordinate office activities and operations efficiently and in compliance with company policies
  • Answer phones
  • Perform filing
  • Order supplies
  • Create and update records as needed
  • Prepare documents as assigned
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative/clerical tasks
  • Assist colleagues as needed

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or relevant education preferred
  • Work in a manufacturing or industrial services company preferred
  • Accounting, purchase order, and customer service experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, type, and write.
  • Reach with hands and arms, bend, stand on a stool or climb, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Use standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, printers, copiers, etc.
  • Lift files and open desk drawers and filing cabinets.
  • Work in both office and shop environments at Customer Center.

 

Safety

  • Participate in other training as directed by the Company or manager.
  • Wear Nikkiso approved PPE as needed.
  • Address or report safety-related issues and incidents promptly.
