Job Overview

The Manager, Project Engineering manages a team of project engineers overseeing design, manufacturing and testing of pumps and related systems for engineered-to-order projects. This position is responsible for working with multiple departments to ensure on-time completion of projects along with development of procedures, review, and training of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Work with departments, customers and suppliers to address project requirements.
  • Ensure on-time performance of project engineering activities.
  • Provide technical oversight to ensure product designs meet project specifications and in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Perform project engineering work as required.
  • Lead, train and support project engineering team
  • Domestic and foreign travel to meet with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in machine design for engineered-to-order product
  • Experience w/ 3D CAD software, SOLIDWORKS required, creating models, assemblies and drawings
  • Advance MS Office Suite
  • Skilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing priorities.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Develop talent and share knowledge

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering Required preferred Mechanical
  • Register Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • 5+ years of overseeing engineering-to-order product
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Pump industry experience strongly preferred
