Job Overview

Summary/Objective

We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic Operations Manager to lead our Aftermarket Services Customer Center in Atlanta, GA. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational efficiency, profitability, and team performance while ensuring customer satisfaction at the highest level.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Lead all operations for the Irvine Customer Center—delivering on-time, high-quality aftermarket services.
  • Drive year-over-year growth in revenue and EBIT through operational excellence.
  • Maximize efficiency, resource planning, and workshop utilization.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Champion Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
  • Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing team across operations and customer service.
  • Ensure full compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate across global Nikkiso Cryogenic Services locations to share best practices and drive consistency.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7+ years of progressive experience leading operations or aftermarket services in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven success improving efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong financial and business acumen — experience managing budgets, KPIs, and cost performance.
  • Expertise with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 6S programs.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cryogenic or industrial equipment a major plus!

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, type, and write.
  • Reach with hands and arms, bend, stand on a stool or climb, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Use standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, printers, copiers, etc.
  • Lift files and open desk drawers and filing cabinets.
  • Lift 10-20 pounds.
  • Work in both office and shop environments at Customer Center.
  • Travel as needed.
