Job Overview

This role is responsible for functional and application sustaining activities of various business applications including but not limited to ERP applications. Working with users, user groups, functional managers, development teams and project teams, identify and design enhancements as well as system configuration opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and utilization of business applications. This position will also offer courteous and timely Level 1 application support to end users and work together with other support staff to establish proper integration of business applications. You will also recommend and enforce best business system application utilization and practices.

Responsibilities

- Provide Level 1 application support to user community (help desk responsibilities – AREV, Manfact, Microsoft Business Central)

- Analyzes business application issues and workflows and recommends creative application solutions

- Interface with business users to define and document desired business application requirements and enhancements

- Support JSOX annual audit efforts to ensure compliance

- Develops specifications to direct efforts of programming staff (flowchart, functionality definition, etc.)

- Works with business users to prioritize required bug fixes, enhancements and new application requests

- Test and validate application changes / releases and receive approval that application objectives have been achieved

- Conducts user community business application training as required

- Manage production application releases

- Manage the lifecycle of all application requests and resolution documentation

- Participate in project teams representing application solutions, enablers and integration

- Any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

- Direct manufacturing workflow / processes experience (quote to cash)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills; outstanding listening skills

- A responsible, yet flexible personality suitable to interfacing successfully with all levels of management 

- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

Salary $65,096 - $113,280
