Job Overview

 

The Human Resources (HR) Intern will support the HR team with a variety of administrative tasks and projects related to employee lifecycle processes, recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in HR practices and an opportunity to develop professional skills in a dynamic work environment.
 
Pay Rate: $20/hr

This is a part-time summer position

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes (e.g., preparing new hire paperwork, organizing orientation materials)
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration tasks, as needed
  • Support HR projects such as employee engagement, training programs, and policy updates
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as requested
  • Perform general administrative duties (filing, data entry, scheduling)

 

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn
  • Previous internship or administrative experience 
  • Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS) or applicant tracking systems (ATS)
